Head Measurements for Hoods (unless stated otherwise).

 

Small

Neck Measure next to the skin not over clothing.

Measure around neck as shown.

Neck to Shoulder Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure from base of neck to shoulder line.

You may find it easier to wear a tight sleeveless T Shirt to give shoulder line.

Across Shoulders Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure across shoulders as shown.
Wear a tight sleeveless T to give shoulder seam lines.

 

Across Back Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure across back as shown.

Chest Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around chest at nipple level as shown

True Waist Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around waist as shown.
Waist is 2-3 inches above naval (belly button) at narrowest part of torso (if you are slim).
Do Not give us your jeans or underwear size! These vary and are inaccurate due to vanity sizing.

Hips Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around hips as shown.
Measure around body at level of top of jeans/underwear waistband. Do Not Measure Hips at widest part of Hip Bone !
Do Not use low rise jeans.
Do Not give us your jeans or underwear size! These vary and are inaccurate due to vanity sizing.

 

Top Thigh Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around top of thigh as shown just under crotch

Mid Thigh Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around middle of thigh as shown, half way between crotch and knee.

 

Knee Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around knee as shown with leg straight.

 

Calf Measure next to the skin not over clothing.
Measure around calf as shown.

 

Ankle Measure around ankle as shown

 

Inside Leg Measure from crotch to ankle bone.
Get a friend to measure this for you

 

Outside Leg Measure from top of jeans waistband to ankle bone along outer leg seam of jeans. You Must be stood upright so you cannot make this measurement without an assistant. Wear Normal cut jeans not low rise.
Get a friend to measure this for you.

 

Top Arm Measure around top of arm as shown.

 

Bicep Measure around widest part of bicep muscle as shown.

 

Elbow Measure around elbow as shown with arm straight down by side.

 

Forearm Measure around forearm as shown.

 

Wrist. Measure around wrist as shown.

 

Arm Length. Measure from top centre of shoulder seam line to wrist bone.
You may find it easier to wear a tight sleeveless T to show shoulder seam line. Arm should be measured whilst straight with wrist down by mid thigh.

 

Front Rise Front Rise. Wear a tight round neck T shirt to give neck line.
Measure from neck line at front to cross seam on jeans/ underwear under crotch.
If wearing jeans ensure they are tight under the crotch. Ensure the tape measure is pulled tight and jeans are pulled up tight under the crotch, if measured wearing jeans we advise you repeat these measurements in briefs and T shirt to ensure measurements are skin tight.
The rear rise should normally be 2-3 inches longer than the front rise.
You may find it easier just wearing a tight round neck T and briefs with a seam under the crotch.
When measuring Rise measurements get a friend to help, It is important you are stood straight with head level. As a cross check measure from neckline at front to neckline at rear, with tape running under the crotch. This measurement should be the same as the front and rear rises added together.

Body Height - Measure from top of head to floor.
Stand upright with head level.
Measure barefoot.
